Finding Your Self in Therapy

"Not until we're lost ... do we begin to find ourselves ... " | Henry David Thoreau

People seek therapy for all kinds of reasons. Some struggle with anxiety or depression, others have endured a trauma or significant loss. Many are trying to keep a relationship together or pick up the pieces after one’s ended. Some want to work through a particular problem that's kept them stuck and unable to get ahead, others simply feel discouraged or unsure of themselves. Whatever your situation might be, therapy can help. It provides an opportunity to share your concerns with another person and work together to discover a way forward.

Relationships have a profound influence on our lives and how we experience ourselves and relate to others. My approach to therapy explores the unique ways that relationships have shaped you. Insight and awareness gained through our experience together can then be built upon to generate healing, personal growth, and lasting change in how you live your life.

Successful therapy depends on a strong connection between the therapist and patient, so it’s important that we're a good match. If you have concerns that you'd like to work through, let's talk. Call or email to set up an initial consultation.
